Kyoko - Belly Dance Night

Here in Singapore, KYOKO is the only Japanese belly dancer trained in Cairo and certificated by the belly dance teacher’s course in Egypt. She was born to ballroom dance instructor parents in Japan. Her first dance teacher was her mother. She started to join the special music skills school (piano, vocal, and rhythm dance) from 3 years old. Before embarking on belly dancing, she tried several dances like modern ballet, jazz dance, Latin dance etc, but nothing could satisfy her. Then she met her first belly dance teacher, Nenupher (dancer/choreographer) in Japan and KYOKO’s belly dance life started.

Kyoko will be performing at Blu Jaz every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. Her first performance at Blu Jaz starts on 20 Jun 2008. Time: 9.30pm. Free entry.
