Christian Bucher - from Switzerland!

Christian Bucher established himself thanks to his solo concerts as a drummer and as a percussionist and his frequent collaboration with other fields of art, such as painting, photo-art, sculpture, video, installation, art performance, architecture, literature, theatre and dance.
�
Together with Guido Egli he wrote the film music for Stefan J�ger�s documentaries �Von Grund auf w�r ich ein Mensch zum Leben� (Basically I was born to live) and �Schritte gegen den Wind� (Steps against the wind), broadcast on TV and film festivals.

He was a founder member of the jazz trio �Nevertheless� and active in numerous other bands and groups, such as �Gruppe 9�, a group of nine artists from different fields of art.

He is currently busy with his solo carreer, with the duos Bucher/Glauser and� Bucher/Fehlmann, the trio Bucher/Glauser/Untern�hrer, the band Portobello and projects in cooperation with other fields of art. Numerous CD, radio and TV recordings as well as various festival appearances in different countries are part of his activities.

Solo-, duo- and band-concerts have lead him to Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Thailand, Turkey, South Africa, Slovenia, Spain and the USA as well as to innumerable places in his home-country, Switzerland.
